Before moving to Port Charlotte in 1971 she was a registered nurse in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Price was one of the first twelve registered nurses hired by Fawcett Memorial Hospital and charter member retiring in 1991. Mrs. Price was a life member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla #98, a member of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church and an avid swimmer at Charlotte Square.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, William C. Price of Port Charlotte; her son, Steven Carol Price of Waynesville, Ohio; her 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Sue Saplin.
