He was a U.S. Naval veteran of the Korean War.
John is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Gibbons of Hoffman Estates, Illinois and Maureen Plymale of Yuma, Arizona; sons, Kevin Kilbride of Franfort, Illinois and John Kilbride of Urbana, Ohio; sisters, Pat Cooke of Richmond, Virginia, Marion Murphy of Mesa, Arizona, Judy Inciarrano of Weirsdale, Florida and Ruthann Redmond of Upper Ocklawaha, Florida; 9 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters.
