John P. McManus, 72, of Rotonda West, Florida died August 31, 2010. He was born January 19, 1938 in Bay Ridge, New York to Thomas and Elizabeth (McCabe) McManus.
He moved to the Englewood area 7 years ago from Haddam, Connecticut and he was a retired Marketing and Sales Representative for I.B.M. Corporation and he was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dale A. McManus; his sons, John, Jr., Donald, James and Thomas McManus; his daughters, Maureen Terrari and Jeanne Dostie; his step-sons, Daniel and David Holmes; his sisters, Eileen Cleary, Rose Ann Daly, Mary Pellecchia and Betty Mahon; 12 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home.
