Mrs. Gagliano.

 I am Kenny Skalla from your second grade class 1957 and my Mom & Dad were Marge & Paul the janitors of Hopelawn School.

 I wish to express my condolences on the death of your husband.

 I don't know if you remember one of your "class projects" you did but I do. Mr. Gagliano cut pieces of wood on his home power saw for all the kids and we had to make a sign from it. 

  I made a "God Bless Our Home" sign and to this day, that sign hangs in the garage at MY house.

  I do not live far from Hopelawn and occassionally I drive by the area. Your home is still in nice condition, but NOT AS NICE AS YOU KEPT IT!

  Stay well and know you are still fondly remembered FIFTY years later.

  If you are not aware, my Dad died in 1993 and Mom died in 1996.

Dear Mrs Gagliano,

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. My sincere condolences to your family.

You were my second grade teacher, class of 1955, I believe, and I want you to know that I have never forgotten the kindness and joy of learning that were part of your classroom. I remember your smile and how you made lessons fun while teaching the reading and math skills that I would use my whole life. You also taught us to be kind to one another, perhaps the most important life lesson.

I am comforted to know that you and your husband have enjoyed an enduring marriage, a rich family life and some sunny Florida weather.

Dear Mrs Gagliano,
You were my second grade teacher at Hopelawn School #10 in about 1957 - as you were for most, if not all, of my seven sisters!  My best memories were from grade school and second grade was one of the best.  

I'm sorry to hear of your husband's passing, but pleased to hear that you had a wonderful and long time together.  When I visit Hopelawn one sister still lives there I always remember you when I drive by your house.

Mrs. Gagliano,

I was sorry to hear about your husband's passing. You were married for 66 wonderful years, that is something for all couples to emulate. 
I was in your 2nd grade class at Hopelawn School in 1976. I was elected the Toothless Club President and still have a photo from that partlicular day. I remember your sweetness, kindness and genuine love for all the children. 

My brother James was also in your second grade class as was my father, Dennis Pace in 1950.
