Josephine K. Thompson, 90 of Rotonda West, Florida died February 8, 2010. She was born November 17, 1919 in Roanoke, Virginia to Wilford A. and Vesta J. Angell Kraige.
She moved to the Englewood area in 1977 from Oxon Hill, Maryland.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Jo David McHugh of Boca Grande, Florida; her sons, Emmett C. Evelyn Thorne, Jr. of Forest Hill, Maryland and Michael S. Carolyn Jo Thorne of North Port, Florida ; her brother, Bobby L. Kraige of Roanoke, Virginia; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; she was predeceased by her husbands, Edward L. Thompson and Emmett C. Thorne
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel. Funeral Services and burial will be in Maryland.
