ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL
LEONARD A. SILVESTRO, 70 of Englewood Charlotte County died peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 28, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of Leonard & Theresa Silvestro.
Lenny resided in Englewood for the past 30 years and was the original owner of Lenny's Trash Hauling. He retired to a life of crabbing & boating and enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. He will be remembered for his witty jokes and his upbeat personality.
Lenny is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marilyn; mother, Theresa Silvestro; children, Nicholas Silvestro, Leonard J. Silvestro, Elaine Williams and Joanne Ferrell, sister, Annette Avelli; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 10:00 am until service time starting at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Englewood. Entombment will be held private. You may express your condolences to the family at, www.lemonbayfh.com
