Leroy J. Ebanks, age 89 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away April 21, 2020. He was born in Honduras to Lesley Johnson and Clientes Bodden on June 12, 1930. Leroy retired as a Merchant Marine and was also a Carpenter. He enjoyed his work as a Deacon at Grace Apostolic Church. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Esony; his brothers, Clifton, George and Cecil; and his sister, Dorothy. He is survived by his loving wife, Halcie; his children, Brenda, Gary, Leroy Jr., Alfredo, Patricia, Rosa, Mauriceo, Pedro, Robert, Edward, and Hugh; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Joseph; sisters, Lucille, Luly, Madeline, and Ordine; and many extended family members and friends. A private family service will take place and interment will be at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood, FL.
