

She was born in Hampton Bays, New York on August 30, 1931. Louise worked for the Bank of New York for 25 years before retiring to Florida. She was an active member of the Deep Creek Elks and was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Louise was a avid bingo player and loved to win. She did a lot of volunteering for the Elks and the Culture Center.
She is survived by a sister Marion Erwin, of East Orange, New York; 3 children, David Wessler of Hampton Bays, New York, Wendy Wessler of Brook Haven, New York and Betsy McCuen of Hampton Bays, New York. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren She is also survived by 6 stepchildren, Melvin Hansen of Southold, New York, Maureen Krupski of Laurel, New York, David Hansen of Port Charlotte, Florida, Carl Hansen of Laurel, New York, Jack Hansen of Aquebogue, New York and Marion Hansen of Port Charlotte, Florida; 13 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandson.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday May 28, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port charlotte, Florida
