Mary Lou Brown, 77, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday October 31, 2007 in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Brown was born on November 24, 1929 in Coshocton, Ohio to Donald E. and Neola Markley Williamson.
Mrs. Brown moved to Port Charlotte 15 years ago coming from Sarasota and Coshocton, Ohio.
She worked for Basketville in Venice before retiring in 1992. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Port Charlotte, a member of Senior Friends and active at the Port Charlotte Cultural Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela S. Wood of Port Charlotte; and Vicki Alan Stiner of Arcadia, Florida; her 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Donny Stiner both of Arcadia; her aunt, Arvilda Ames of Coshocton, Ohio; and several cousins including Jerry Haywood of Coshocton, Ohio.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Brown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel, 2405 Harbor Blvd, with burial to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
