Michael Lee Williamson, 45, of Venice, Florida, passed away suddenly of heart disease on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at the home of his grandmother.
Michael was born on June 22, 1971, in Chillicothe, Ohio. Michael moved to Florida in later years and so loved Florida and being near the water that he made it his home.
Michael was a loving, single father to his son, Michael Alexander Williamson. They were not only father and son, but “best buddies”. They especially enjoyed computers, gaming together, Busch Gardens, and the beach. Theirs was a special relationship and bond.
Michael was the most wonderful and caring son of Peggy Williamson and John R. Williamson. Michael was a caregiver for his grandmother, Anna McQuade (93). His brothers, Scott Williamson and Kris Williamson, will also sadly miss him. When all together, life was quite funny, entertaining, and there was much laughter.
Other survivors who shared Michael’s love were: Lee McQuade (uncle), Becky Evans (aunt), Doris L. Dutton (great aunt), Andrew (nephew), and numerous cousins and other family members. Michael was predeceased by his uncle, Michael A. McQuade, and his grandfather, James A. McQuade.
No child should ever die before their parents as it is almost more pain than can be endured. As a mother, there was no other like my Michael. He was so unique, intelligent, witty, and caring. I so admired not only the man he was, but so very proud of him for the amazing father he was.
Michael was always willing to help anyone. He was well liked by everyone he would meet. He just had such a gift that touched and was felt by so many. Even though Michael’s life was cut too short, but the joy that he brought in that time was bigger than the universe. Michael will live in our hearts forever.
