Mr. Donald E. Daniels

March 20, 1936 - January 14, 2014.

Don was born in Endicott, NY to Harry and Margaret Daniels. Donald served in the US Army from 1956 to 1959 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal. Donald married Mary A. Reynolds on June 24, 1961 in Great Bend, PA. They have three sons: Donny (wife Lynne, children Billy & Marcy), Brian (wife Kristin, children Katie & Meghan), and Steve (wife Cindy, children Sean & Sarah). The family relocated to Ridgway, PA in July of 1975. Don owned and managed a highly regarded State Farm Insurance agency until December 1997. Don was known for his honesty and integrity while providing the very best customer service to his clients. Don was a 4th Degree Knight of the Knight of Columbus Council 7672, an upstanding member of the Elks Lodge 2378 and lifelong devout Catholic gentleman. Don and Mary retired to Rotonda West, FL in 1997 where Don enjoyed caring for his pool and entertaining his children and grandchildren on their frequent visits. Don's greatest joy was that his three sons acquired their bachelor's degrees from the universities of their choice. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Billy, Marcy, Katie, Meghan, Sean, Sarah, and great grandchild Angelina.

He is survived by his wife Mary and sons Donny, Brian, and Steve, brother Harry, and sister Joyce.

Don was preceded in death by his mother Margaret, father Harry and sisters Elena and Norma.

He is also survived by a brother- in- law Dewitt Reynolds (JoAnne) and brother -in- law Bill Reynolds (Martha) as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
