Mrs. Williams was born in Hampshire County, West Virginia, March 26, 1931 and moved to Florida in 1962, from Virginia.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sandra Gayle MacKinnon of Port Charlotte, Florida; her sister, Linda Berg of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; her brother, Henry Householder of Ridgeley, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Commander Harvey Williams in June of 2006.
Phyllis had two loves; tennis and sewing. She played tennis with the Charlotte County Tennis League for many years and was a member of the "Sewing Stitches of Love" at Edgewater United Methodist Church of which she also was a member. No services have been scheduled at this time.
