
Robert G. Judd, beloved and adored husband of Edith L. Judd, went to his Lord on December 26, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born in Bristol, CT, to Chester K. and Leila (Herold) Judd on October 2, 1931, Bob lived a full and blessed life.
In addition to his loving wife of 58 years, he is survived by his five children; Janis Lee Sullivan and her husband Patrick, Robert A. Judd, Steven R. Judd and his wife Sharon, Jerilyn J. Majeika and her husband David, and Brian E. Judd and his wife Barbara. He was a loving and proud Grandfather to Bradly Vallett, Heather Vallett, Hannah Faucher, Mikaela Judd, Katherine Judd, Alexander Judd, Jake Majeika and Jarod Majeika as well as three Great-Grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters, Betty Johnson and Marge Jabs and his brother Richard Judd. His brother Chester K. Judd II predeceased him. He is also survived and will be greatly missed by his large extended family, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
He was graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, class of 1955, and proudly served as Naval Aviator. After completing his Naval Service, Bob & Edie settled in Rhode Island, where Bob worked as a Plant Engineer. After his retirement from Hasbro, the Judds relocated from Rhode Island to southwest Florida, where they continued to enjoy a full and rich life, traveling when possible and enjoying their new home; welcoming family, neighbors, and a wealth of old and new friends. Bob's love of family & friends, his wit and wisdom, and his strong, quiet guidance with be sorely missed and always remembered.
He was a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church.
