Roger V. Cox, 72, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, in Inverness, Florida. He was born November 25, 1941, in Hanfield, Indiana, the son of Verlin D. and Shirley J. Cox. He worked as a sheetmetal mechanic for most of his adult life. In 1977, he moved his family to Colorado, after falling in love with the state on vacation the previous year. His passions were cars, Pink Floyd, the Denver Broncos, the U.S.A., his children and grandchildren, and his late beloved wife, Rita M. (Motheral) Cox, who preceded him in death December 3, 2011, as did his step-daughter, Cimone Neill (Patrick).
Survivors include his daughters, Marcy Hamilton (Michael) of Pasadena, Maryland, and Andrea Uzarowski (Todd) of Centreville, Maryland; his brothers, H. Wayne Cox of Trafalgar, Indiana, Kevin Cox of Marion, Indiana, and Charles Cox of Inverness, Florida; and his grandchildren, Shannon Landry (Justin) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Samuel Hamilton of Pasadena, Maryland, and Madalyn Uzarowski of Centreville, Maryland.
