Ron grew up in Newark where he went to Barringer High School. He was then accepted into Arts High School where he concentrated on his artistic endeavors. After being discharged from the Army, Ron started his internship at Tiffany and Company learning jewelry design, manufacturing and retail. He enjoyed spending his summers down the shore with his family, especially Ortley Beach and Seaside Heights. Ron spent hours in his sailboat crabbing and fishing. He loved hitting the boardwalk in Seaside after a long day on the water. In the early 1980’s he relocated to Florida. He continued his joy (obsession) of fishing for snook, redfish and going to the beach. Ron was passionate about anything to do with jewelry, art, drawing, metal detecting, knives, shooting guns and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Gimbel, Sarah ( Muscarella) Gimbel and his daughter Jennifer Jensen. He is survived by his devoted loving wife of 30 years Debra Gimbel, Son Joshua (Sara) Jensen , daughter Jessica Gimbel, granddaughters Jordan (Cody) Mooney and Kyra Jensen, grandson Cole (Felicity) Martin, great granddaughters Piper Martin and Finleigh Mooney, great grandsons Ryland and Gryffin Mooney, brother in laws Tom (Jean) Kirsch, Tim(Lynn) Kirsch, plus many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
