Ruth E. Brewer, 90, of Venice, FL formerly of Greenwich Connecticut, died Monday July 4, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice in Venice, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, her parents, Laura and John McQuown Sr., and her brother, Earl McQuown Jr.
Her survivors include her children, Sue McCafferty of Riverside, CA, Alan Brewer of San Francisco, CA, Carol Lopacinski of St. George, Utah, her sister Annabel Brimhall of Riverside, CA, her half-brother John McQuown of San Diego, CA, and her half-sister Kate Howell of Santa Fe, NM.
"This life I have but once to live. Joys and happiness to give. I lived life full, with grace and cheer. As I walk away - be glad, I am still near."
