Sandra W. King, 61, of Punta Gorda, FL died Wednesday June 20, 2007. She was born April 16, 1946 in Danville, IN and moved to Charlotte County at the age of 10. She was one of the original founders of the For the Love of Kids organization and the Punta Gorda Block Party. Sandy was highly recognized in the real estate community.
She is survived by her husband, John Horvath, parents, Harriette and Melvin White; sons, Timothy Linda Lund and Jefferey Lund; step-children, Deborah Hanson, Pamela Bushrod Duncan, Christopher Horvath and Jill Ryan McFarlane; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Donald Emily White, Ronald Linda White, Kenneth Judy White and Carl Karen White; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm, Monday June 25, 2007 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm, Monday at the funeral home with the Rev Dennis Postell officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Springs Cemetery.
