Teddy Ray Smith, age 85, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his home.
Teddy was born in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Elzie and Sarah Smith. Teddy with his wife Gail, both moved to Florida from Ohio in 1974.
Teddy Ray Smith was a family man. He worked in construction for many years until he retired. He loved fishing, hunting, and building things. He recently celebrated his 65th wedding anniversary with the love of his life, Gail Smith.
Teddy is survived by his wife Gail Smith, daughter April Smith, daughter-in-law Kim Smith, and four grandchildren: Danny DeLoge, Amanda Smith, Teddy Smith, and Koby Smith. Along with one great grandson Isaiah Semexant and one brother Gene Smith. Teddy was preceded in death by his daughters Sandra Smith and Carla DeLoge. As well as his son Teddy Smith and granddaughter Casey Deloge.
Services for Teddy will be held at a later date.
