Anne Meldrum passed away after her courageous battle with cancer in Mc Kenney Creek Hospice, Maple Ridge on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 with her daughter Debbie right by her side.
Anne was born in Liverpool, England then moved to Sheffield, England in 1960.
Anne then moved to Jersey for a couple of years before finally settling in Coquitlam, Canada in 1999.
Anne met David Meldrum late in life in 2004, and they shared 21 years together until David passed away at 100 years old in July 2025.
Anne is survived by her dear son Tony (Emma), daughter Debra (Stephen), granddaughters Bethany (Jake), Molly (Brandon) and Leigh (Edd), plus her great granddaughters Emily, Eleanor and Holly.
She is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law Jackie and many nephews and nieces.
A catholic funeral will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Port Coquitlam on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11.00am. Please join us afterwards at the parish hall to celebrate Anne’s wonderful life.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers at McKenney Creek Hospice, Maple Ridge for their loving care over the last three months.
Anne was so loved by all and will be dearly missed.
