Charles William Edward Fizzell

On February 7, 2023, at the age of 80, Charles William Edward Fizzell passed away after a lengthy illness. Several members of his family and friends were with him when he passed peacefully. Charles was born and raised in Saskatchewan. Following high school he worked for several years for Bell Canada in Toronto as an electrician. In 1966 he moved back to Saskatchewan and began working for SaskTel. At SaskTel he was employed as a sight maintenance man for the northern half of the province and then as a supervisor. Charles is survived by his wife, Maureen, his daughter, Carrie-Lynn, his son, Charles (Xuesi), his grandchildren, Andy and Crystal, his sister, Ethel, and his brothers, Garry (Irene) and Delbert (Dorothy). Charles will be remembered for his love of family, his love of reading and current events, his handyman skills from plumbing, electrical, mechanical to carpentry and his love of cats both domestic and wild. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am on March 31, 2023 at Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC.
