Married to George Herbert Spence on October 26, 1944. A Girl Guide leader of the 45th Burnaby Company and member of Trefoil Guild. An avid participant in the Delta Air Park Flying Club, Boundary Bay Air Club, Langley Aero Club and Western Warbirds.
Predeceased by her husband George in 2005, survived by son Richard (Karen) daughters Carol (Ron) Norton, Barbara (Jim) Cole. Grandchildren Erik, Julia, Chris, Matt, Mike, Ray, Cameron and Daniel. Great Grandchildren Emma and Oliver. Also left to mourn, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 27, 2024 at POCO Inn and Suites Hotel, 1545 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, BC, from 1pm to 4pm.
