Elizabeth Ellen Robson

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ellen Robson (nee) McKenzie peacefully on March 31, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Elizabeth was born in St. Boniface to Mary and Archie McKenzie. Her twin brother passed away hours after birth. She met the love of her life Danny at a church dance. She moved to BC with her parents in 1956. Danny followed her 6 months later and they married in November 1959. Together they had two children, David and Laurianne. Elizabeth was a loving wife and mother who was very involved in her children’s school and activities. Elizabeth was an avid reader and she loved watching all sports on TV. Her favourite activity every Monday was going to bingo. She met a lot of longtime friends.

Predeceased by her parents and her husband of 59 years Daniel Robson in 2018, she was survived by son David, her daughter, Laurianne (Rob) and grandchildren, Hillary, Halley, Tyler and great granddaughter Sofia. She will be missed by her family back east.

The family wishes their sincere gratitude to Nicola Lodge (Sockeye) caregivers for their kindness support and care shown to Elizabeth during her last chapter of her life.

Memorial service will be held at Saint Joseph Parish in Port Moody on April 30 from 11 AM to 1 PM. The Family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering and honouring her life.
