In the short time I worked with Gavin, he was always cheery.  Gavin enjoyed helping people.

I will be missing Gavin and condolences to the family. I remember meeting up with Gavin at the uptown mall in New Westminster for lunches. He originally hired me at the City of New Westminster back in 2009 so we had many laughs and good conversations.

Oh, Gavin, you will be missed!  I will miss our lively debates, your booming voice, seeing your face light up whenever I asked about your grandkids, and so much more. City Hall just isn't the same without you.  You will not be forgotten. May you rest in peace.

My condolences go out to Gavin's family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.  Gavin was a great person to work with.  As his former manager,  he was always so willing to help people out with their IT requests and enjoyed being around people and his team.  I will always remember how effortlessly he tackled the hills of New Westminster while walking up 6th street to get his lunch and lotto tickets each day.  He worked hard his whole life and was really looking forward to retirement so he could spend more time with family.   I still can't believe he's no longer with us.  Rest in peace Gavin--you will be missed at the City.

It was a pleasure to work with Gavin at the City for so many years. We shared in a lot of laughs together and problem solving printer issues..  I am sad to hear this news. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Gavin. He was a sweet soul, a kind and happy person and he will be missed. 

Beaming lots of love and healing vibes to everyone during this difficult time. 

May we remember that we are one shared life, one shared breath!

Gavin was a good man and a great colleague to many. Always dependable and ready to help others, he played a big part in providing exemplary customer care and IT support to hundreds of  users in City of New Westminster for over 10 years. His prompt service attitude and friendly demeanor has won him many praises and compliments, and his dedication and commitment at work is exceptional. Although he may  not be with us anymore, we can still "hear" his presence in the hallways at City Hall, and remind us of his good qualities as a person and a great colleague to many staff members.

RIP Gavin,  you will be sadly missed! 

RIP, Gavin. I miss joking around with you at work and your laugh. It's not the same without you.

As a colleague of Gavin's at the City, I can say that he will be sadly missed.  He had a way of staying calm and imparting just a bit of humor even in very frustrating situations, and he always knew exactly what to do.  I still feel a bit let down when I call the help desk and hear someone else's voice.

I can't imagine the magnitude of your loss, but I wish you strength and peace in coming to terms with having his presence as a memory rather than a reality.  Such a character will not be forgotten.
