Logan is survived by her husband Jason Wood; her parents Mike and Brenda Rushby; her siblings, Kelly and Matthew; her nephew, Jameson; her grandmother, Diane, and countless other relatives, friends, and coworkers.
Logan was born in Saskatoon and moved to British Columbia in 1995. She graduated with Great Distinction from Douglas College in 2011, and received the President’s Scholar Award upon graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University in 2014. She recently earned her insurance license while working as a Financial Assistant for her family business. In November of 2016, she married Jason at a beautiful destination wedding surrounded by family, friends, and sunshine.
Logan was the energy of every event; she was always the first one to dance, make others laugh, and get a party started. Her infectious personality brought a smile to the face of everyone in her presence. She was a natural at everything she did, be it soccer, skiing, tennis, work, beer pong, or learning a new dance aboard a sailboat in the Dominican. In September of 2014, after only 5 days’ of dedicated training, Logan completed her first marathon in Bellingham, Washington in 3 hours 32 minutes, a time fast enough to qualify for the famed Boston Marathon.
There are no words to describe how much she will be missed by her family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00 pm on April 22nd at the Northside Church located at 1460 Lansdowne Drive, Coquitlam. Pastor Barry Buzza will officiate, and all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Logan’s name to the Canadian Mental Health Association... https://goo.gl/vS75Fq
