It is an honour and a privilege to have had a friend like Maria.
There are no words in any language to express the sorrow of losing such a kind-hearted person. Many friends may come into our lives, but only a few leave behind lasting memories etched in our hearts—Maria is one of those rare few.
With her cheerful spirit, she lit up our office every Saturday morning for nearly 20 years. Her warm smile and positive energy were a constant source of joy. Maria was a hardworking entrepreneur—attentive to detail, eager to learn, and always adaptable to change.
She loved to travel the world and often shared her adventures through beautiful photos. She was especially excited about her recent trip to Hong Kong and China with her son—a journey she cherished deeply.
Beyond her professional life, Maria was a devoted mother and grandmother, a caring sister, and a generous soul. She was always ready to help those in need, especially the poor and the homeless.
Thank you, Maria, for 24 years of friendship. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

Maria and I knew each other in the early 90’s.  We shared many of our friends and we shared a lot of memories.   We had laughters and tears together over the years.   Her biggest wish was to see her two lovely granddaughters grow up.   She loves her two boys.  She was a great mother as well as a great daughter and sister.   I will always remember her lovely smile, her generosity,  her giggles … and her perfume.

I knew and was lucky enough to work with Maria in the Flower Business for around 20 years. She was the most lovely and elegant lady to ever grace the premises of United Flower Growers. She was my favourite customer, but most of all she was a very dear and special friend. I so missed her once she retired and do regret not keeping in contact with her. The Auction is. a very sad and depressing place without her uplifting presence there. This world will be a much less wonderful place with her not in it. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Thank you for all you kindness, support, encouragement and the wonderful friendship you showed me over the years.  You will be missed.

I am lost for words and deeply saddened by Maria’s passing.  Maria’s son Alan is like a son to me, he and my son Edgar were inseparable since they were kids and up to now.  Maria told me that it is only Edgar that she trust to be with Alan in their home.  I am so honored.
Maria is a beautiful and generous soul.  She used to supply flowers at our Parish, Our Lady of the Assumption.  Up to now I am so shocked that she’s gone. She will be remembered forever.
The good Lord saw her in pain and since He wants to end her suffering He decided to take her to be with Him in Paradise.  Now she will be an Angel that will guide her families and friends.
Our deepest sympathies to her family specially to our “adopted” son Alan.  We will be praying for the repose of her soul.  Rest in peace

I'm deeply saddened to hear about Maria's passing, she was like a second mom to me. Her son Alan and I have been best friends since we were kids, and I spent a lot of time in her home. 

She always made me feel welcome, like part of the family, always asking if I'd like to stay for dinner and inviting me to family functions. To this day I would say her version of "Nasi Lemak" with coconut rice is still my favorite, I've gone to several Malaysian restaurants and they just don't measure up. 

When I think of words to best describe her, it would be brave, fierce, generous and kind. 

She will be deeply missed by anyone who knew her, Alan left me with some words to really put things into perspective. She was taken earlier than expected, but god has bigger plans for her. She is now our guardian angel.

I wish I could press rewind and bring you back - just for a moment. 
I wish I could hold you one more time and tell you - I Love you 
I will miss your voice, your vibrant smile, your hugs and your unconditional love. 
I’ll hold you in my heart till I can hold you in my arms - We only part to meet again.
