Norma Eileen Moulder

August 15, 1935 – February 9, 2023

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother and friend, Norma Eileen Moulder. We are, however, comforted to know that she has joined her best friend and husband of 59 years, Norman Moulder. They will now continue to have many more happy adventures together.

Norma is predeceased by her parents, George and Inga Miller (Grandma and Grandpa George), her brother Donald Miller and Sister In Law Shirley Miller. Norma had a very special relationship with their children, Heather (Tom), Brenda (Greg), and Glen (Adele and their families.

Norma will be lovingly remembered by son Daryl (Kristine), grandchildren, Grant (Meagan), Amanda (Kris) and Great Grandchildren Amelia and Elijah; as well as Daughter Shari (Mike) and Grand Daughter Madison. We also want to recognize the most fun people who truly brought joy to Mom’s life: Sister In Law, Alice Moulder (Ross), Susan Moulder, (Don) and Megan and Hannah Basran.

Norma had such fun with weekly card games and her long time partner in crime, Betty Millward and “children” Tricia (Larry) and Mike (Stella). When Norm and Norma made Maple Ridge their home in the ‘60’s, Norma worked tirelessly for her children and her community. She was a member of the Ladies’ Hospital Auxiliary and many other boards. She sewed countless figure skating costumes and attended all kinds of soccer games and sporting events.

When the kids got older, Norma had fun times at Hatzic Lake and Hemet, California and many cruises. More recently, Norma devoted her time to the Ridge Meadows Senior Society and was the treasurer of her condo board.

Thank you very much to the compassionate professionals in the ICU and Ridge Meadows Hospital who assisted with Mom’s final journey with kindness and humor.
