PETER LARSEN 14 July 1948-6 October 2020 It’s with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss our beloved husband and father. Pete passed after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Lillian Larsen. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years ,Shirley and his loving and devoted Daughter Stacey. Pete was the surviving younger brother of predeceased Sidney Larsen and the surviving brother of predeceased sister Cynthia Larsen. Pete leaves behind nephews Steve Brock, Lars Larsen, John Hiebert, niece Erica Larsen. Along with great nieces Lilly and Sophie Larsen.
Pete enjoyed music and loved games. He would spend countless hours with his daughter Stacey listening to music, playing board games and cards. They were fierce competitors enjoying every minute of it. He would reflect back to those precious moments with love and affection.
One of Pete’s other joys was fishing spending countless hours on his brothers boat or simply fishing on a lake with his wife or daughter.
As a younger man he would go hunting with his dad and brother and always had so many stories to tell.
Our memories will fill our hearts for a lifetime and beyond. Farewell Pete!
Donations in Pete’s memory are welcome to be made at the Salvation Army.

Ramon and I send our condolences to my dear daughter Stacey who was able to help comfort her Dad for the last seven weeks of his life. Our thanks and condolences also go to Shirley for honoring and sharing that time and opening her home for Peter, as his wish was to stay at home until the end.
Remember the happy memories you shared with him and not the sadness of his passing. Take comfort that you were there when he needed you most. He loved you both and he loved music. Play a tune for him and think of him, he'd like that.

I remember the day Pete and Shirley got married. It was outside and the weather was perfect. Pat was there wearing a pink outfit and I wore red. We looked terrible beside each other so I made sure Shirley was between us for pictures.
I remember the precision and care Pete put into wrapping cheese up in wrap. And he loved his white shirts to be crisply ironed. He was not a fancy dude, but he took time to do things right.
You can say many things about Pete but you can’t say he was boring - always amused me! Rest In Peace, my friend.

Please accept our deep condolences for the loss of your dear husband and father. I have known Pete since high school at Queen Elizabeth Secondary, and am filled with such sadness and disbelief he is gone. The love and pride, he had for you will always be with you and hope it gives you peace and comfort. Even though he is no longer with you, his laughter and big spirit will be with you forever.
In our prayers at this sorrowful time,
Sharen & Dave
