Ray is lovingly remembered by his wife Linda, son Alvin, daughter in-law April (Casuga), grandchildren Taylor and Sydney, brother Peter, sister June, along with many others who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ray and his young family started their adventure in Canada in the vibrant city of Toronto, Ontario before settling in the suburb of Mississauga, ON. Ray and Linda made the move to the west coast in 1993, making Port Coquitlam their new home.
Ray was somewhat a creature of habit. He loved movies and books and accumulated a large collection of VHS tapes, DVD’s, and paperback novels. He even subconsciously recreated his office space to look exactly as it did back in Mississauga, including an overflowing assortment of knickknacks and souvenirs.
Ray also enjoyed serving his community. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus for many years and volunteered at his local church. He was always generous with his time and never wanted to inconvenience anyone with anything he was going through. Ray will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
A Funeral Mass and memorial service will be held at 11:00am on January 8, 2026 at Our Lady of the Assumption. Cremation and burial service will be performed at a later date.
