January 11, 1939 ~ July 31, 2022
Bob passed away peacefully from complications of Parkinson’s disease on Sunday, July 31, 2022. He was 83 years old. He had a good long and interesting life. He is survived by his devoted wife Veronica and many close friends, some of them life-long friends. His mother, Grace Evangeline Bredsteen and father, Ernest Homer Wilson, predeceased him.
He was a kind and friendly man and will be so missed by all. He was proud to have a radio-broadcasting career spanning 25 years. He also ran several small businesses. Bob enjoyed warm weather, gardening, travelling and trains. He restored a Canadian National Railway train station with his wife that is now a museum. B & V shared almost 36 years of memories together.
