William Turner Faulkner

William Turner Faulkner July 22, 1962 to January 14, 2021

Bill was born in Princeton, BC to parents Andrew and Irene. He was predeceased by his parents and his older brother Joe. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Connie, his daughter's Jill (Dustin), Jane (Ben) and grandchildren, Amelia 5 and Laney 2; his brother Mark and sister Judy and many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Bill. He was so much fun!

Bill grew up in Kamloops, BC and had many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins that he spent a lot of time with fishing and camping. He played a lot of sports and had a great childhood. He was very close to his mom having lost his dad at an early age. Bill and Connie met in Calgary, AB at the Ranchman's in 1982 and would have been married 36 years on July 13th.

Bill genuinely loved life and people. When Bill was happy he hummed. He talked to everyone and touched a lot of people in his life. He was interesting, intelligent, kind, generous, a true gentleman and he made the best breakfasts! Everybody liked Bill and was always happy to see him. His life story would have been a best seller!!! Bill was Co-owner of Beaverdell Pole Co. and Coastal Grower Supplies.

Bill loved his family and was especially fond of Amelia. He was very proud and happy for his children. He spent most of his free time with his family going for walks with the dogs and grandkids, tennis, golfing, summers at the Shuswap with friends and family. The big Christmas dinners for years. So many wonderful memories!

We are deeply saddened at the loss of a loving husband, father and grandfather. You left this world too early. Our hearts are broken and life just won't be the same without you. Will miss you dearly, Bill, Billy, Willy, William, Dad, Grandpa and friend. xx Celebration TBA.

I’m so very sorry to you all.

Billy was always one of my very favourite cousins, always enjoyable company.

Always looked forward to spending time catching up during the Faulkner family get togethers where we’d swap stories, have great laughs, and check in. Loved him so very much.

You cannot think about Bill without smiling. He was such a fun, happy, generous guy. Such a character, loved his stories. He will be missed. Heartfelt condolences to Connie and to all the family.

Deepest condolences to you Connie, Jill and Jane. Your husband and father was so loved by you all. Bill still holds a special place in my heart as well as with my boys, Brandon and Dylan. We all have such fond memories of fun times shared in past Birthdays and holidays or just weekend get togethers. He was such an easy guy to love and so full of jokes and laughs for everyone around him. He was always dreaming of the next big jackpot scheme that was going to make you all rich. Although that may not have completely come to fruition, he was very intelligent and never stopped trying. I know he has left a big hole in your hearts but thankfully time does heal. I think Bill had a really awesome life, although cut way too short, he was very lucky to have shared it with you amazing women.
Sincerely,
Julie, Brandon and Dylan

Bill, Connie and their girls and pups were our neighbours and friends on Ogden Street for 16 years. We shared many happy fun times together. Bill was always ready to help. We had a big stump that needed to be pulled out . Bill came over with his truck and pull along. Almost made it but hilariously ran out of gas so his buddy had to tow him out of our steep driveway! Fun memory of seeing the fireworks from Bills boat. We Miller's are still very connected to the Faulkner's although we are no longer neighbours. We send love to Connie, girls and family. Bill and his big heart and smile will be very missed.

Bill and Connie were my neighbours for many years and Bill was always so kind and generous to myself and family. He was always offering to help me in some way with loaning me yard tools or helping me with side work or just being generous in so many other ways. Bill was a good man and we will hold his memory dear to our heart. We wish Connie and family peace and hope for the future. Xo
