Anne Fronda

P. Anne Fronda, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December18, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph D. Fronda; her parents Oliver & Charlotte Shurtleff; brother Richard Shurtleff; sister Joy Shurtleff; granddaughter Anne Lockwood and her great grandson Cameron Mika.

She is survived by her children Joseph A. & Carol Fronda, Teresa Lockwood, Annette Nicolini, Michael & Jen Fronda and Angela Daly; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law David & Lee Shurtleff, Robert & Shirley Shurtleff; sister & brother-in-law Lee Shurtleff & William O’Day; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cat Lucy.

Anne graduated from Binghamton North High School and upon graduation, she became a draftsman for Valley Design, and after many years she was the premier draftsman in the area. After drafting, she held several positions until her retiring as the church secretary for Immanuel Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed yardwork, gardening, baking, reading and sewing. Anne was a kind and gentle soul who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 9:30am at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY. The burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
