Beth R. Snyder

This pretty lady, our mother Beth R. Snyder passed away at the Vestal Park Rehabilitation facility Monday evening, January 4, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard A Snyder and her sisters, Virginia Ingalls (Rodney) and Patricia Pettengill (Bob). She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Martin and Kathy McGraw; her four children, Chris and Linda Snyder, David Snyder, Colleen and Patrick Clarke and Tina and James Pennefeather. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Amy Snyder, Ronnie Snyder, Chris Snyder, Courtney Sabin, Brett and Sarah Pennefeather, Paul and Brielle Donohue and nine great grandchildren. Beth will be remembered for those who knew her for her generosity and warm heart, always putting others needs before her own. She was a hard working person, strong willed and preferred not to take help from others. She always said she could do it herself. Beth will be missed for her spirit and determination. Beth seldom slept. After midnight was her favorite time to talk on the phone to her friends. She loved doing crafts, sewing quilts and baking. Beth enjoyed working as a beautician at Molly's Hair Corner with her good friend Molly Ocker. Molly was family. Working was her social time and did so into her middle 80's. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the excellent care they gave Beth.
