Betty Montemagno

Betty Montemagno, 79, passed away peacefully April 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Gilbert; mother, Mary Finch and loving sister, Gloria Manzer. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dominick Montemagno, Castle Creek; children, Dominick, Jr. and Lois Montemagno, Hillcrest; Mari-Jo and Ed Kinney, Hillcrest; 4 grandchildren, Dominick Montemagno III; Anthony Montemagno; Dennis Simonds; Brian Kinney; 5 great grandchildren, Angelo, Tino and Lola Montemagno; Phoenix and Kamdenn Simonds; sisters, Eileen Parmelee, Binghamton; Marion Taylor, Port Crane; half sisters and brothers, Debbie Wayman, Windsor; Loriann Gamaur, Binghamton; Jimmy Gilbert, Windsor; David Gilbert, Binghamton; many loving nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 9:30 AM at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson and continue at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4 – 7 PM.
