Ruby was a loving, compassionate and caring person who had enough love to spread around to everyone. Her life was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren as well as her favorite pet, Bubba. She was a stay-at-home mother for many years and later worked for Broome County Office for the Aging. Working for the aging population was a perfect position for her because she connected easily to people in need. She always spoke with a soft voice and had a smile that would seem to make all your problems go away. Her daughter, Marie, devoted herself to her mother’s care for many years. The honor that Marie bestowed upon her mother was an outpouring of the love that she had for her. What a special gift for her mother – the special care that she received.
