

Craig J. Woodruff, 51, of Binghamton, passed away on October 3, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Colleen Woodruff; the love of his life, Lorrie Gidzinski; his children, Nichole Woodruff (Joe), and Austin Woodruff; his granddaughter, Autumn; his brothers and sisters, Dana (Cyndi), Kyle, Christine, Kurt, Ronald Jr., Kent (Lisa), and Shannon (Chuck); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Craig graduated from Chenango Forks High School in 1982. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Square Deal Riders Motorcycle Club. His son, Austin, was a state champion rider in 2013 thanks to Craig's coaching and mechanical expertise. Craig's family wishes to extend their thanks to the many loyal and supportive friends who have helped him. A prayer service will held at 9:30 am on Thursday, October 8, at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson with a funeral mass to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Craig's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
