David E. Gorick

David E. Gorick, age 84, of Kirkwood, New York passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 25, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marcia Gorick; and his beloved son, Edward Gorick. David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; his children, Paula (Gordon) Whitney; Christopher (Sharon) Gorick, David E. (Shelley) Gorick, Jr., Mary (Kristi) Gorick, and Richard (Terri) Gorick; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and his sister, Margaret (Jerry) Meyers.

David proudly served with the US Navy from 1957-1965. He enjoyed working at Gorick Construction for 43 years; initially for his Uncle Mike, and later with his cousins, Tiger, Sally, Diane and Patty. David was also member of Operating Engineer Local #158. He loved his children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

David's family would like to thank Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing for the care he received over the past 8 years.

A graveside service for David will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Chenango Valley, Nowlan Road, Binghamton, NY 13901. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements by the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home.
