Debra J. Pinney

Port Crane: Debra Pinney passed away on June 7, 2013 after an extended illness surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her father, Theodore Freije. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, George Pinney; sons, Scott Bates and Todd and Rachel Bates; grandchildren, Hailie, Kyleigh, Kelsey Bates and proudly expecting a fourth grandbaby in September, who were the light of her life; her loving mother, Marjorie Freije. She is also survived by brothers, Charles Freije and Darlene Meeker, Edward and Sue Freije, David and Kathy Freije and one sister, Janet Reuscher and Dave Johnson. Debbie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins whom she adored. She will be remembered for many things, especially her beautiful gardens and her love of her family. Many thanks to the staff at Broome Oncology and Lourdes Hospital for the wonderful compassionate care she received during her long, hard battle. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. The family will receive freinds from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the family plot in Shawsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Broome Oncology at Lourdes Hospital.
