Edythe L. Jefferies, 61, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Vernon & Beatrice Backus; son, Sabu Stroman and sister, Bonnie. She is survived by her children, George & Christine Campbell and their 10 children, Quentin & Faustina Campbell and their 4 children, Tahesha Jefferies & James Simpson and their 4 children, Yolanda Jefferies and her 4 children, Nakkia Jefferies and her one child; brothers, Vernon, George, Mark, Jimmy and Joel; sisters, Charlotte and Florence; her loving better half, Randall Brooks; fathers of her children, George Campbell and Elton Jefferies; several nieces, nephews, cousins and all of her family and friends that she mentored as a mother. The Family will receive friends at the First Assembly of God Church, 255 Washington Street, Binghamton, on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 9-11:00 am. A funeral service will be at 11:00am.
