Eunice E. Deyo

Eunice E. Deyo, age 87, of Windsor, New York went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at age 87. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Viola Turik; her husband of 54 years, Burdette Deyo; her grandson, Dominick Torto; her brother, David Turik; and son-in-law, Kenneth Lester. Eunice is survived by her children, Gerald (Debra) Deyo, Patricia Quick (Chuck Magdich), Gary Deyo, Carl Deyo (Becky), Michael Deyo (Connie), David (Christine) Deyo, Linda (Keith) Degnan, Burdette (Kelly) Deyo, Robert Deyo, and Brenda Lester, and honorary son, Andy Reynolds; 34 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; siblings, Romelle (Art) Mellendorf, Beatrice (Michael) Fitzgibbon, and Alvin (Joy) Turik. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, including those from Cascade Valley Church, and her beloved cat, Spunky.

Eunice was a homemaker for several years, raising 10 children. Later in life she worked at Southern Tier Plastics, and retired from Felcher Mfg., at which time she able to fully enjoy her true passion of gardening. She attended Cascade Valley Church, where she played the piano and organ. Eunice enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. After the death of her husband, she would travel all over the country to visit family. Eunice always arrived home in time to celebrate Christmas with 200 family members, and she always had a gift for everyone.

A visitation for Eunice will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St, Port Dickinson, New York 13901, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Eunice will be laid to rest in Village of Windsor Cemetery, Chapel Street, Windsor, NY.
