Evelyn Jacobs

her loving husband of 45 years Albert Rowe and then married Larry Jacobs who she was loved by for 12 years until his passing. She is survived by her only son Stanley Rowe; stepchildren Laura (Richard) Cunningham, Lynn (Mark) Szigeti and Robert (Darlene) Titchener; step grandchildren Erin and Zachary;

great grandchildren Sinan and Serkan. She had many wonderful neighbors who helped through the years. She also had a loving church family at Glen Castle United Methodist Church and a very special friend Virginia Huston. Evelyn was a graduate of Binghamton General School of Nursing in 1943 and was a registered nurse for over 20 years at Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta and after her retirement, she was a

private duty nurse. She was a native of Oneonta and moved to Binghamton in 1992 after marrying Larry.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 3, 2020, 1pm at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. Burial will be in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12pm until the time of service.
