

Gloria C. Courtright, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023. She was predeceased by her father Charles Oles, mother Vera Oles, stepfather Donald Follet, brother-in-law David Courtright. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Charles Courtright, her sons Michael Courtright, Daniel Courtright & Michelle Newkirk-Purdy and Jaime Courtright; granddaughters Chandlar and Rebekah; brother & sister-in-law Robert & Rose Follet; nieces & nephews Kara & Samuel Dick, Kaitlynn Cardillo and Lynn & Nicholas Ponder; sisters-in-law Barbara Reed & Dennis and Sylvia Courtright; cousins Tom & Sugi Dewey and Mary & John Follet and a longtime close friend Ginny Pompeii. She was a member of the Castle Creek Fire Company Auxiliary and a longtime member of First Church of Christ and is now New Venture Church. She was an employee of Town & Country Bowling Alley, Sugarmans, Elizabeth Church Manor and was also a caretaker for any of her family or friends in need. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10-11am with a Memorial Service to follow at 11am.
