Jeffrey Jay Jachimowicz, 55 passed away at his home in Chesapeake, VA with his love and best friend, Rebecca Sturdevant and dog, Boots, by his side. Jeff was predeceased by his mother, Marlea and stepfather, Jerauld Crimmins, and sister, Karin Rabert.
Jeff is survived by his son Jeremy Jaggers (Kalli); grandchildren Emmett and Solana; his sisters, Lynda House-Jakaitis (Bill) of Port Crane, Vicky House of Oxford, Gail Rafferty (David) of Binghamton, Carol House of Apalachin, Cindy Kostreba (Mark) of South Carolina and a chosen sister, Kelly Al-Faouri of Binghamton.
Jeff graduated from Binghamton High School in 1988, retired from 23 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, was employed at Virginia Commonwealth ChalleNGe Program from 1995-2019, followed by LB&B Associates.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on July 8, 2024 from 10AM-12PM with a Memorial Service at 12PM. Military Honors will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Town of Dickinson, NY at 1:30pm.
