John L. Truchan, 66, of Minoa, NY, passed away suddenly in Johnson City, NY on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Anna Truchan. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Erika and Richard Medlin; grandson, Jonathon Kyle; sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Dick Totman; nephew, Craig Totman, niece, Kelly Totman, great-nephew, J.R. Mead; aunts, Alma holowacz, Marianna Leib and Hilda Young; several cousins, many, many friends. John proudly served in the US Navy and the US Naval Reserve and was an employee of Bus Parts Warehouse in Manlius, NY. John was a member of St. Matthew's Church in E. Syracuse, NY.
A memorial mass will be offered on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 atat 10:00 am St. Francis of Assissi Church, 1031 Chenango Street, Hillcrest. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service.
