Joyce Dougherty Mansker

Joyce Dougherty Mansker, 88, of Harpursville, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur Cade & Thelma Cade Shuman; stepfather, Everett Shuman; husbands, Theodore R. Dougherty, Richard Mansker; sons, Timothy A. Dougherty and Duane R. Dougherty; sisters, Doris Brown and Faith & Albert Warner. She is survived by her loving children, Claudia & Stephen Kachmarik, Karen & Weslie VanVoorhis, Joel Dougherty; grandchildren, Scott Kachmarik, Shaun Kachmarik & Kasey Creveling and Mark & Alison Dougherty; great-grandchildren, Delilah and Isaiah Kachmarik, Asa, Mason and Austin Dougherty; brother, Arthur & Joann Cade; numerous nieces, nehews and special cousin, Eleanor Trinder. A special thank you to Mark & Kate Lenihan for their loving care over the last four years. Joyce was a member of the W. Windsor Baptist Church and Gideon's International for many years. She was renowned for her sewing and pie baking and was one of the first female school bus drivers at the Harpursville Central School District. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 the time of service at the W. Windsor Baptist Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
