He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Joyce Anderson; and his sister, Michele Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Dona Anderson; his brother, John Anderson; his children, Mike (Connie) Anderson, Judy (Chad) Guzy, and Joanne (Sam) Folk; grandchildren, Holly, Kim, Greg, Nicholas (Sierra), Sierah (Cole), Kaleb (Charity), and Noah (Marissa); and his three Littles, Alora, Kayson, and Wilder. Larry is also survived by close friends including Gary Bullock, Tina and the staff at Jane's Diner, and his coffee crew at Jane's.
After graduating from Johnson City High School, Larry was drafted into the Army in June of 1966. He served two years active, two years inactive, and then 2 years in the reserves. His working career consisted of machine shops, and then he later retired as a truck driver for Maines Paper and Food Service.
Larry enjoyed hanging with friends while camping, and loved his grandchildren and Littles immensely. He was also a life member of the Conklin Volunteer Fire Department.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St, Port Dickinson, New York, 13901, where a memorial service will immediately follow 1:00 pm.
