Linda was a graduate of Windsor High School. She shared in the ownership of Dwyer’s Motors with her late husband, Thomas M. Dwyer. Linda also owned LJD Chili Dogs, where she was renowned for her delicious chili dogs, as well as her macaroni and potato salads. Together with Tom, they were foster parents to 32 children over the years, demonstrating their deep commitment to family and community.
Linda loved her family dearly. She is survived by her daughters Tammy and Joseph Powell, along with their children Dillan, Emily, and Gabrielle, and Patricia and John Read, with their children Clayton and Connor. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Bonnie Beagell, Ronald Williams, Roger and Chrys Beagell, Gary and Linda Beagell, and Debra and Jerry Deyo. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Bernice Beagell, Sr., her brother Donald Beagell, Jr., her sister Dawn (Beagell) Williams, and her husband, Thomas M. Dwyer. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the Chenango Valley Cemetery.
