Linda J. Heath

Linda J. Heath, 80, of Castle Creek, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Heath, Sr., son Jerry Slate, parents Richard & Ruby McKercher, sister Barbara Nojaim and brother John McKercher.

She is survived by her children Albert Heath, Jr., Deanna Heath, HopeAnn Lehman, Chris Slate, Tammy & Ron Ohnmacht, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Rich & Darlene McKercher, Paul McKercher, Mark McKercher & Steve McKercher; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Linda’s life was her family, her faith, and the Dallas Cowboys. Her faith was her peace. She grew up in a huge family, the oldest of 7…and that’s just the McKercher’s. There is also the Dunham’s, the Mardirosian’s, and the Hunt’s. One big family, thanksgiving at the “hall”, annuals picnics at state park, family reunions at Aunt Neva’s and Uncle Ed’s, the softball games, spending time at Scobies, and of course, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchilren…her family was everything to her.

The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10-11AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 11AM.
