Marilyn A. Bennett, 85, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Eleanor McKevitt; sister, Rosemary McKevitt. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, William; daughters, Catherine Zimmermann, Theresa Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett; grandchildren, Samantha & Jorge, Brian, Jody and Courtney; great-grandson, David; brothers-in-law, Gordon Bennett, John & Joanne Bennett; several nieces and nephews. Marilyn enjoyed photography and will be remembered for being extremely good natured. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
