Marion G. Wilcox

Marion G. Wilcox, 90, of Conklin, passed away peacefully at Lourdes Hospital, Sunday, November 10, 2013, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Gertrude (LeBar) and Harry Goldsmith; her husband, Walter C. Wilcox; and her son and daughter-in-law, Lowell & Lucinda Wilcox. She is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas Wilcox, Robert & Shelia Wilcox and Douglas & Geri Wilcox; eight grandchildren, Carol & Frank Accetta, Emily & Paul Gier, Liz & Jeff Noordhoek, Karen & Jeremy Zimmer, Janine Wilcox & Ian McFadden, David Wilcox & Stephanie Olin-Dabrowski, Kelly & Howard Singer and Sarah & Nick Masters; her 12 great-grandchildren, Katie & Ian Accetta, Natalie & Alex Gier, Gunner & Archer Noordhoek, Johnathan, Emily & Julian Zimmer, Bryce Singer and McKenna & Elizabeth Masters; and a special nephew, Art & Shirley Wilcox. Marion was an active member of the Conklin Presbyterian Church and was also active working on the monthly newsletter. As of April of this year she was the president of the Conklin Cemetery, a position she took great pride in. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Vestal Nursing Home, Lourdes Hospital, ICU Unit, and a special thank you to Dr. Perkins and Dr. Martinez for their constant care these past few months. A Private Funeral Service and Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Conklin Presbyterian Church, P.O.
