

MaryAnn Giblin, 90, passed away peacefully in the arms of our Lord at United Methodist Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband John Giblin, her parents Mary and Frank Lasky, sister Diane Lasky, mother and father-in-law Mabel & Robert Giblin, her uncle John & Helen Lasky, aunt Sophia; cousins Jimmy, Daniel & Kathy Lasky.
She is survived by five children, her daughters Cindy & Mark Mika, Cheryl & George Kozol, Colleen & Robert Tokos, Claudia & Jim Enright and her son John Giblin, Jr. and Linette Rivera; her grandchildren Tommy & Anitah O’Leary, Jake & Stephanie Mika, Keith Mika & Nikki Canny, Jennifer & Joe Harvey, Jaclyn Tokos and Jeff Coughlin, Jessica & Giovanni Gambino, Ryan & Monica Enright; her great grandchildren Hannah, Brianna, Natalie, & Landon O’Leary, Connor, Carter & Madison Mika, August Harvey, Giovanni & Domenico Gambino; great great granddaughter arriving in October; cousin Hope Boedicker and her family.
She was an employee of General Electric, Singer Link, Sears, Press & Sun Bulletin and several other jobs throughout her lifetime. She had a great love for gardening (Food and Flowers), crocheting, cooking, bingo and playing cards and games with her children and grandchildren. Her greatest love was time she spent with her family.
We would like to thank the United Methodist Nursing Home staff for the great care they gave her in the last 10 years of her life. She was truly blessed!
The family will receive friends at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 37 Fayette Street, Binghamton, NY on Thursday, June, 20, 2024 from 9-10AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
